The Lotus Flower
For most of us, navigating life and all of its challenges is not an easy gig. We make mistakes, face adversities, and endure brokenness. The Lotus Flower symbolizes strength, resilience, purity, and creation. It moreover represents new beginnings. The Lotus Flower serves as a reminder that though we are struggling, healing is possible.

About Us
Professional Philosophy
As a psychotherapist and educator, I have a passion for mental health wellness and feel honored to help people on their wellness journeys. I believe total wellness is achieved when all aspects of life are addressed. Physical, mental, and emotional health all go hand in hand, and in my work I address each area to ensure clients' needs are being met holistically.
As a therapist, I incorporate evidenced based interventions into my work. I value providing a safe, open, and nonjudgemental space for individuals to share what’s on their heart.
Educational Background
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (2020) from the University of Maryland, College Park. There, I received enriching experience as I was introduced into the world of Psychology and mental health. I spent the final two years of my undergraduate career working as a Research Assistant in the Psychology Department. I also taught as a Supplemental Psychology Instructor, teaching freshman students enrolled in PSYC 100 courses. These experiences cultivated a foundation for my learning at the graduate level.
I earned my Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2022) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Along with completing the required coursework and internship clinical hours, I worked as a Graduate Assistant for Crisis Management. In this role I supported college students experiencing personal mental health crises.
